I got a call yesterday afternoon at work. A preemptive call. The one you get when your child's care provider is pretty sure your child is going to mention something and they don't want you to be surprised.
"In case C__ mentions that he rode the white bus today, the school failed to put him on the bus to [daycare center] and we had to go pick him up. Well, there were actually three children that didn't get put on the bus."
Despite the detailed email with his schedule which I sent to his principal and his teacher.
Despite the sticker I put on his shirt that morning that said "C rides the bus to [daycare center] after school today."
Despite my several calls to the transportation department.
Despite my in-person visit with the office and the assurance that the school was going to speak with the transportation department.
I'm done. Up to HERE, I'm done. I've gone beyond hot anger to ice cold fury.
The superintendent of the district will be getting a call from me today. Rest assured.
